Joel Stein, host of the Story of the Week podcast, has been a journalist for 25 years, including 20 at Time magazine where he wrote 22 cover stories. Stein has also been a weekly columnist at the L.A. Times and Entertainment Weekly, has written for the New York Times, the New Yorker, Vanity Fair, the Washington Post, Businessweek, Food & Wine, GQ and Esquire. He taught a writing class at Princeton. He has written two books. In 2016, he made a five-episode podcast for Earwolf called ‘What’s Wrong With Me? with Joel Stein.’
